In the Sports domain our Vidyo Sports Stars have done remarkably well and out shone others at various events at various level.

In the Under 14 Category:

• Lakshaya took part in discus and shot-put and won the 1st place.
• Varshini and C.Moniga won the 2nd and 3rd place in 100mts and in high jump.
• In 4x100mts relay the school team was placed 3rd .

In the Under 17 Category:

• V.Barzila took part in 1500mts and 800mts and won the 1st place.
• R.Deepthi and Keerthilaya won the 1st and 2nd place in 3000mts.
• C.Sowrna Lakshmi won the 1st place in high jump.
• In 4x100mts relay the school team was placed 1st .

In the Under 19 Category:

• B.Akshaya Sri won the 1st place in 100mts, long jump and triple jump.
• G.Deepika and M.Asha won the 1st place in 200mts, 400mts and 2nd place in triple jump and high jump.
• KusheeM.Jain won the 1st place in 3000mts and 800mts.
• YovanaYuvathi won the 3rd place in 3000mts.
• R.MadhusudhaVarshini was placed 2nd in 1500mts and 800mts respectively.
• R.U.Sandhiya won the first place in high jump.
• A.K.Aparna won the 1st place in discus and shot put.
• The school relay team won the first place in 4x100mts and 4x400mts relay

We won the Athletic over all championship for the Third consecutive year.

• In Hockey, the school team were the winners in all categories namely U/14, U/17 & U/19.
• In Hand ball, in the U/14 category the school team emerged winners.
• In Chess,KrithigaandAbirami won the 3rd place in the U/14 and U/19 category.

The Chennai Revenue District (which is a merger of all the 4 Zones) conducted various Tournaments for U/14,U/17 & U/19 categories in Volley Ball, Basket Ball, Hockey and the Athletic Meet. The results are as follows:

• Basket Ball Tournament: The U/14 emerged winners and they will represented the State. U/17 were the Runners-up.
• Hockey Tournament: In the U/14, U/17 and U/19 categories the school Hockey Team were the winners all the way. They represented Chennai District at the State Level.
• Republic Day Games and Bharathiyar Day Games: The school Volley Ball Team were the Runners-up in the U/14 category.

Some of our students representing the school Basket Ball and Hockey Team in the U/14, U/17 and U/19 category are selected for the SGFI Nationals Tamil Nadu Team

• V.Vinodha&G.Shalini Sri participated in the SGFI Nationals TENNIS BALL CRICKET held at Madhya pradesh.
• R.ShakthiBharathi and V.Keerthi participated in the SGFI NATIONALS YOUTH TENNIS VOLLEY BALL matches representing TAMIL NADU team at Hyderabad (Telangana)
• KushiM.Jainwas the Captain of the TamilnaduHockey team in the SGFI Nationals held at Ranchi and she was declared the best player of the Tournament.
• InKorfBall, P.Kalpitha, R.Subhashree, R.Deepthy, D.Jayashreeand S.Priyalakshmi participated in the SGFI Nationals at Chattisgarh and won bronze medals.

• Deiva Mani Memorial Chess Tournament our school won the 1st ,2nd and 3rd place.
• Hoops of fire state level basket ball tournament and in the Peri state level tournament we were the runners-up.

K.Deepika of Std XI represented Tamilnadu in the Khelo India Basket Ball Tournament, held at Guwahati-Assam in the month of January. The team won the Gold and she will be receiving a cash prize of Rs.2 lakhs from the Honourable Chief Minister of Tamilnadu.
